Hank Steininger, CEO

Hank SteiningerHank is the former Managing Partner of the Global Public Sector business at Grant Thornton.  In this role he was responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of Grant Thornton’s government business worldwide.  He was Chairman of the Grant Thornton International Public Sector Committee comprised of global member firms.  As a senior partner, Hank was also a member of the U.S. Firm’s Operating Committee that oversees and manages national and regional businesses. Lou Crenshaw, Managing Director

Lou CrenshawLou is an executive in the public and private sector with almost 40 years of experience.  Lou started his career in the U.S. Navy where he reached the rank of Vice Admiral before retiring after over 30 years of service to our country.  As a Principal in the global tax, audit and advisory firm Grant Thornton LLP, VADM Crenshaw’s most recent position was as the National Industry Leader of its Aerospace and Defense Industry segment, coordinating tax, audit and advisory engagements across the country and around the globe.  In addition to his work at HJS, Lou is the owner of Crenshaw Consulting Associates, a small business serving the commercial sector with strategic business advice. Richard L. Gregg, Managing Director

Dick GreggDick Gregg is the former Fiscal Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.  As the Fiscal Secretary he was responsible for developing policy and overseeing the operations of the financial infrastructure of the Federal Government.  Dick also served as the Commissioner of the Financial Management Service as well as numerous other management positions with the Treasury Department.  Among his many accomplishments Dick modernized the savings bond and government-wide accounting programs, moving towards an all-electronic Treasury environment. View full resumé.

Robert L. Childree, Senior Advisor

Bob Childree is the former Comptroller of the State of Alabama from 1987 to 2009.  While the Comptroller, Bob was responsible for the development and implementation of the state’s financial resource management system, a fully integrated ERP which encompassed all major financial functions for the state.  Bob has also been a Director in Grant Thornton’s Global Public Sector in the State and Local vertical where he worked with officials in Nassau County, NY and Jefferson County, AL to resolve critical budget issues.  Bob has also served as the National President in both NASACT and NASC.  View full resumé

Robert H. Attmore, Senior Advisor

RHA-PhotoBob retired in mid-2013 after nine years as the Chairman of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) where he led efforts to advance the transparency, relevance and comparability of state and local government financial reporting. Those efforts addressed critical accountability and reporting issues during a period of great turmoil and financial strain in the U.S. economy and municipal capital markets. As Deputy State Comptroller for Management Audit and State Financial Services in New York, Bob spent two decades providing leadership and policy direction for a large group of professionals that served as the center of financial accountability for the state. Alvin Tucker, Senior Advisor

Al TuckerAl is the former Executive Director of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC). He joined ASMC from the accounting firm of Grant Thornton LLP and served as a Director in the Defense and Intelligence practice. During his federal service he was DoD Deputy Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1997. Prior to that, he was Deputy Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Deputy Assistant Inspector General (Audit) in the Office of the DoD IG, and Director of Training and Education in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). John Radford
John Radford has over 35 years of government financial management experience starting his career working for the City of Omaha, Nebraska in various financial management positions. In 1983, he moved to Oregon and began work as Budget Officer in the Oregon Judicial Department and was promoted to Management Services Director in 1985. In 1989, the Governor appointed John to the position of State Controller. He has served in this capacity under 5 Oregon governors. John has authored articles for a variety of professional association newsletters; contributed chapters to Essays on Leadership; 21st Century Government published by the NECCC, and published Financial Trends in State Finance in the 2004 edition of “The Book of the States.” John is the current author of Government Financial Management and Reporting an industry reference guide.View full resumé.

Clyde McShan, Senior Advisor

As a career member of the Senior Executive Service Clyde served in the Commerce Department as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of Financial Management. Timothy’s over 25 years of experience in the software and financial services industry has covered a wide range of technical and educational contributions including taxonomy design and development, XBRL systems consulting, XBRL software development and training services, and consulting services for SEC reporting clients starting with several of the first to implement SEC US-GAAP Interactive Data filings. Timothy is currently Senior Advisory to the Department of the Treasury in assisting the Agency develop DATA Act financial reporting standards that will eventually be used by all agencies within government. He is also an active member of both the XBRL.US Best Practices Committee and the FASB Taxonomy Advisory Group.

Herm Fischer, Senior Advisor

Herm has over 35 years of experience in the software and financial services industry focusing on XBRL systems consulting and XBRL software development. He is Chair of the XBRL Formula and Rendering working group (xbrl.org), Vice chair of XBRL Base Spec working group and a member of XBRL Standards Board 2009-2014. Herm received his B.S. in Physics and his M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
