Clyde G. McShan, II

Clyde McShanClyde G. McShan, II presently serves as a senior advisor consultant with emphasis on relationship management . Mr. McShan is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and spent most of his working life in that area. He was employed by the Federal Government and spent over 30 years in Federal service including 17 years as a senior Federal Executive. He is a recognized leader in the greater New Orleans area having been responsible for the huge growth of a Federal organization in New Orleans that serviced the entire Federal Government. After retiring from the Federal Government, Mr. McShan served in senior management positions for several commercial firms and was instrumental in growing both revenue and profit of these firms.

Mr. McShan was extremely active in the New Orleans community having twice served as Chair of the Federal Executive Board in New Orleans, by actively participating in the United Way Campaigns for about 25 years including 12 years on the Board of Trustees and serving in numerous leadership positions with the organization. He has served and continues to serve on the YMCA Board and chaired the Board for two years. Mr. McShan is also Vice Chair of the Louisiana Technology Council and has served on the LTC Board for over 10 years. He has also served on the Tulane University IT Advisory Board, the University of New Orleans Accounting Advisory Board, and the Xavier University Business Advisory Board.

Mr. McShan is a member of the Association of Government Accountants for the past 40 years and twice served as President of the New Orleans Chapter as well as National President of this very prestigious association. He is also a member in good standing of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Mr. McShan has received numerous awards including the Robert W. King Memorial Award, and the Elmer Staats Award from the Association of Government Accountants, the Donald L. Scantlebury Memorial Award from the JFMIP, a Distinguished Executive Service award from the SEA, two Presidential Meritorious Rank Awards, and numerous community service awards from the United Way and the YMCA of New Orleans. Mr. McShan was also twice named as one of the top 100 Federal Information Systems Managers by Federal Computer Week and has been inducted into the Information Systems Hall of Fame by the Government Computer News.
